I am one of the students of this population, so I have some ideas about the differences between living at home and in the dormitory. The main differences between living in the dormitory and living at home are cost and privacy. First, the family have to pay extra expenses of rents, it is not a small cost a year if the family's finances is tight. Second, mother will cook three meals for family, but living in the dormitory, you should prepare three meals by yourself. It is very inconvenient and it is also another expense. The other difference is privacy, I have to live with other people in the dormitory, which means you do not have privacy. For example, if you want to have a phone call to your boyfriend, it will be heard by other roommates. Contrary to living in the dormitory, I have my own space at home. As it is a social life, you should think about other people's lifestyles habits because you can not just consider yourself.

On the other hands, there have some advantages of living in the dormitory. For instance, you can go to KTV or play bowling with friends at midnight, unlike at home, you should go home before 12 o'clock, or your parents will blame you. Furthermore, you can make friends with your roommates. If you have some trouble, you can discuss with them; if you feel bored on the weekend, you can go shopping with them. It is a special experience for me, because I did not have any experiences in living with other people except my family.

Because I had learned them before so I found them interesting and easy to understand. During the period of study, I got some certificates about computerized and commercial subjects. It made me feel happy and proud, and I taught I didn't make a wrong choice before. In the third year of my senior high school, I made up of my mind to study the computer science further at the university. So I tried to study hard in the last year. Now, I am a student of NTUST and my major is Information Management. I like my major more and more even though some courses make me feel bored or uninterested. This is my choice, so I will try my best in this field.

Doggy

Month ago, a stray dog gave birth to 9 doggies near my Mom's shop. Because of the weather was very cold, Mom took them to the shop and fed them. Doggys are 8 black ones and a white one. I bet you will like them instantly if you see them, they are so cute！ They so little and the eyes were not open when I saw them at first time in three weeks ago, and now, they are plumpness and running with energy. They like biting my fingers, because their teeth are growing.

This book contains 10 aspects of idiom like "People", "Emotions" , "Business", and etc. I want to share some idioms that I feel interesting or useful in this book for everybody :

Paparazzi ! ?

Do you know what is "Paparazzi " ?

One of my friend attended an graduate school examination of NCCU yesterday. Last night he told me about the exam, they should write an english article, and the topic is "Paparazzi in Taiwn."

"What is paparazzi mean ? " I asked, but I thought of it instantly. Because a few days ago, I watch a cartoon "NANA." I saw this word in the cartoon, it means a person who doggedly to take candid pictures of a famous person for sale to magazines and newspapers. The singular is "Paparazzo." This word is comes from Italy.

Some of students think the "paparazzi" is a kind of dance "Parapara", and someone think it is the Italian "Pavarotti" , a world famous tenor. I laughed at that when I heard. That's so funny !!

Important Skill

A person who want to be successful in the world, what skills should he/she have? I think that is the "communicative competence" , the skill of communicate with other people.

This is very important in a team, especially the leader. Can you image that everyone in the team just do the things themself without communication, or the leader let you do works authoritatively although that is not your domain.That's a big problem!
